We’ve invited 10 of the UK’s best rib chefs and restaurants to battle for the title of ‘Great British Rib Champion 2013’. Each will cook their own version of ribs, which will be blind tasted by our panel of judges. Guests will be able to taste a rib from every competitor and place their vote for their favourite.
The winning chef will take home a £3,000 prize. Rib tasting will take place from 1-5pm, with the winner announced at 6.00pm.
Bartenders from Rotary Bar & Diner will be mixing the drinks at the festival bar. Expect plenty of rum and bourbon, and a special Ribstock Grog.
Mark The Ribman claims his Holy F*!k sauce can’t be beaten. So we’re putting it to the test in a Hot Sauce Competition. We’ve got 6 of the best hot sauces for you to blind taste. The Ribman’s BBQ sauce will be on hand if you can’t handle the heat.
We'll have a dedicated craft beer bar at the Ribstock Mini Beer Festival. Only micro-beer brewed within the M25 will be allowed. Breweries will include Beavertown, Camden Town, Meantime Lager, Partizan and Kernel.
